Welcome to the official site of the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway where you can enjoy a historic train ride on our family-friendly railroad in the beautiful Hocking Hills.

 

NEW! Haunted Hocking Ghost Express evening train, with stories of local ghosts, departs at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, September 12 and October 10 & 17.

Special Ride for a Cure Train to benefit the American Cancer Society on Saturday, August 22.

Due to work on the bike path which is being extended, we expect the track to Robbins Crossing to be closed for construction until at least August 3.

All trains depart from Nelsonville Depot. Our train is handicap accessible.
