This is the official site of the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway and the only place to order tickets online. Two trains depart every Saturday and Sunday at noon (14-mile trip to Haydenville) and 2:30pm (22-mile trip to Logan) through the end of
October. Any ticket order cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure will be assessed a 10% fee of the total purchase. All trains depart from Nelsonville Depot. Choose between enclosed coach seating and open cars (weather permitting). |

Take a historic train ride on our family-friendly railroad. Enjoy a narrated ride in a vintage 1920s coach, a
1930s-era heavy-weight coach or an open air car. See a canal lock. Travel to the last company town in Ohio. Stop at Robbins Crossing, an 1840s pioneer log village. Your visit to the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway can be part of a great family getaway weekend in the beautiful Hocking Hills. Our non-profit, volunteer-run railroad is located in Nelsonville between Logan and Athens on
US 33.
