Noon Train to Haydenville (14-mile round trip)
Take a leisurely trip on a passenger train dating back to the 1920s. Hear about Hocking Valley history as you pass the remains of industries, canal locks and other historic landmarks. This train stops for 30 minutes at a pioneer log village before returning to the depot.
Train dates: Every Saturday and Sunday from May
28 through October 30, 2011. This train ride is scheduled to depart at noon and lasts approximately 1 3/4 hours including a 30-minute stop at Robbins Crossing. Advance reservations are highly recommended for October trains.
Cost: Adult $12; Senior (60+) $10; Child (3-12) $9 (Under 3 yrs. old ride free but must sit on guardian's lap.)
TICKETS PURCHASED ONLINE WILL BE HELD AT THE DEPOT. Tickets MUST be picked 30 minutes prior to the departure time of the train. Please allow extra time to pick up your tickets, especially in October. Any ticket order canceled less than 48 hours in advance will be charged a
10% fee.
Tickets may also be purchased in the depot. The depot opens two hours prior to departure of the first train.
A longer train ride to Logan departs at 2:30pm.
