Ride for a Cure Train to Benefit the American Cancer Society
Come aboard for a train ride and tour of the country side. Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society to help with people with cancer. Enjoy a special rate on a trip from the Nelsonville depot to the east edge of Logan and back for a good cause. The first 300 riders will get a Cancer Awareness bracelet, donated by Rocky Outdoor Gear.
After the train ride, participate in a raffle drawing thanks to the support of local venders in Athens and Hocking Counties. You could win pink ribbon items from Rocky Outdoor Gear, tickets to Stuart's Opera House, a free train ride and more. All proceeds from the raffle will also go to the American Cancer Society.
Thanks to rider support, we raised $1599 for the American Cancer Society in 2009!
