CHARTER TRAINS
Have a birthday party, wedding, school field trip, corporate outing, or other special event coming up? Plan a special train ride for 50 or more riders! Tour buses are welcome. Parking is always free. The bus driver and tour group guide ride free. Selected cars on the train are handicap accessible with wheelchair lift assistance at the depot.
Charter trains must be arranged for at least one month in advance. No minimum passenger limit for charter trains. Charter trains are available subject to crew and equipment availability. Minimum pricing applies and is based on the distance and equipment needed to accommodate the group.
Groups of 30 or more passengers on regularly-scheduled trains (Saturday and Sunday, May-October, at Noon or 2:30) must be reserved at least two weeks in advance. Group discounts are not available for regular or special event trains (i.e. – Easter Bunny Train, Robbery Trains, Santa Trains, New Year’s Eve Train). Please note that groups must arrive at the depot no later than one half-hour prior to the scheduled departure time. We can not guarantee the train will be held for a group running late. Seating close together can not be guaranteed after one-half hour prior to scheduled departure time. If a group is late or cancels less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure time, there will be no refund.

Cancellations must at least be made 72 hours prior to departure time. Deposits may be required and are not refundable. Cancellations made after the seventy-two-hour limit will be charged the amount of the reservation. Cancellations must be made by emailing [email protected]. If your group is going to be more than ten minutes late, you or a group representative must call the Depot at (740) 753-9531. If the group is scheduled to ride a regularly scheduled train, we can not guarantee a train will be held for the group if arriving at or after scheduled departure time. Groups must be at the depot no later than one-half hour prior to scheduled departure. If a group has missed the train, the group forfeits the right to refund. Payments can be made by check, money order, voucher, purchase order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Prior negotiated prices will not change unless agreed to by all parties involved.
